It's a job bike from May 2020 and I'm the first owner. I rode it about 6,000 km from 2020 to 2022, then increasingly switched to a gravel bike. I hardly rode the Simplon at all in 2023. I crashed on a ride in June 2023, not badly, but then had the bike serviced at Munix-Finest-Bikes Munich.
The following parts were replaced:

- Carbon handlebar/stem unit (120/42) from Simplon
- derailleur hanger, rear derailleur SRAM-Force short
- large chainring (because of shifting performance, crank is 48/35)

I haven't ridden the bike since. The bike is in perfect condition, with slight signs of wear. The chain fell off a few times at the beginning (but never jammed). The gears have been perfectly adjusted. The bike comes as pictured and is fully ready to ride, including the pedals (Keo Blade Carbon). The Prolog Dimension 143 saddle is used. You can test if it fits you well, but I recommend replacing it. The wheels run perfectly. However, there is upgrade potential here. The tires are Maxxis Highroad in 28 mm with a butyl tube, which can also save weight. The tires are not new, but not worn out. I can leave the Fidlock bottle cages on or remove them.

The bike weighs 8.45 kg as pictured and certainly has some potential for weight reduction in the saddle, wheels and tires.

The Simplon Pavo Granfondo is an excellent endurance road bike. I'm 189 with a 94 cm SL and it fits me perfectly, although the SL gives me about 12 cm of standover height despite the more moderate geometry.
A Quarq power meter is integrated in the crank.
