2021 Specialized Diverge Pro 54cm
I am selling my bespoke gravel fighter jet. In my older but not old age, I've discovered another, more relaxed ride style preference.
This is the gloss black frame they issued for warranty replacements and I got it in May 2021. I am the sole, registered owner and rode about 9-10k miles literally all over the Bay Area in every county, condition and circumstance from May 21 to Dec 22, and intermittently since.
It is a fast, very fun and extremely capable bike. It is recently tuned and ready to ride. As built, it weighs 23lbs 12 oz
Between 7/23 & 12/23 I did some upgrades and this is how it is currently set up. It has only a few hundred miles since these upgrades at most.
GRX FC-RX810-2 48-31 crank. 172.5mm arm length
GRX RD-RX812 rear derailleur (from original build)
GRX FD-RX810 front derailleur 11-SPEED
Shimano SL-RS700 11-Speed Double Road Shifters (from original build)
Shimano XT Brake Levers and Ultegra Dual Piston calipers. New cabling done at same time. Front brake pad replaced and bled 4/24. Rear brake bled, Pad OK - done 3/24. SRAM HS2 rotors
BB from original build
DT Swiss CR 1600 rims (from original build).
Rear wheel trued sometime in 2022. Currently set up tubeless: front has a Schwalbe G-One Overland 45c (recent switchout to better match rear tire. No punctures) the rear is a new Schwalbe G One Allaround 45c as that is what they had when converting to to tubeless.
SOMA Dream Bar (alt bar is so much nicer than a flat bar)
SQLabs 710 ergo grips. SqLabs 411 Innerbarends. (Bar and these accessories from original build)
Shimano 11/34 cassette and SRAM 11 speed chain also done at same time. This will take an 11/36 at least as I originally ran a 50-34 105 crank before upgrading. If you need to climb a little easier, I would strongly recommend an 11/36.
100mm specialized stem. Purchase comes with an 80mm as well, as I have an extra from sorting out bike fit. It is specific to the Diverge.
MKS MashSF pedals with Tefal toeclips
JPAKs Top Tube bag. Bolted to top tube. Terrifically handy and rock solid. Every bike should have bolts on the top tube.
Comes with original SWAT storage bag that fits in downtube and 2 Lezyne power cages
Selle Italia Boost saddle. This is from another bike. I don't care for it. It is a take off from the new to me N+1 bike I currently ride.
Mechanically and functionally, it is in excellent condition and really ready rock.
Aesthetically, there are zingers and pocks in the clearcoat from 10k miles and using a lock. There are a couple of deeper abrasions, particularly around the mount point where I had a rack and trunk bag installed the entire time.
No crashes other than an incident where I was on a single track and I twisted around to take a picture and the footing gave away beneath me and I went part way down a raven while the bike sat on the trail. The only reason I didn't go further down was I grabbed onto the bushes around me which happened to be poison oak. It was riotously funny even though I am allergic to it. Fortunately I made it to a shower with the proper soap so I fared reasonably well.
This is probably more information than you are accustomed to but I thought I would give you the details and history of this mighty steed.
It's a Dream ride for someone out there.
