The bike cost € 1,600 at the time, plus the original 1st Ride pedals and the lowerable seat post for € 200.
Then the motor was retrofitted, the battery is as good as new because we used a different one. Price for conversion another 1.800€. The Eggrider display is fitted, which has 2 modes: Legal and open. This allows you to elicit 250W or 1,200W, 25 km/h or open at the touch of a button or app. Each individual level or 3, 5, 9 levels can also be programmed via the app. As a parent, you can use the app to adjust the levels or speed while riding, so you have good control.
The bike is fitted with the Bafang BB02 750W 48V, which delivers up to 1,300W at 25A, but less is recommended. A 36T chainring from Lekkie is fitted, I would also have a 28T, depending on whether climbing ability or speed is more important. With the appropriate chainring, 50 km/h is possible. The motor has a twist grip throttle (like on a motorcycle) and an integrated pedal sensor, which is deactivated with a plug and can be reactivated at any time.
The battery is from xDeamLite and has 336 Wh, 7 Ah. Sounds low at first, but the consumption for kids is so low due to the low weight that it is also sufficient for long tours. The battery is stowed in the backpack and connected to the bike by cable with an XT90 plug or Anderson 45. We keep the backpack, please use your own (preferably cable through the bottom), I can then make the cable length individually. The battery weighs only 2.2 kg, 2A charger is included. We have not found any space on the bike itself, a mounting rail would be included. A 52V 10.5 Ahm 529 Wh battery is also available as an option. Any 48V or 52V battery can be used if one is already available.
The tires are still original, the bike has a few signs of wear.
The cranks now fitted are custom made and were already used. The original crankset is included.
A good alternative for children compared to Oset, Torrot, TRRS or noisy mopeds, there is enough power and the children can still pedal, the engine is quiet and the bike is not too heavy. If the parents have a fast bike, the kids can keep up and have a blast, just like on a motocross. The open setting is of course only allowed on private roads. The trigger is good and wheelies from a standing start are possible in the higher stages. The children can easily get to grips with the performance. We have boys and girls who have ridden it, but they are now too big for it.
Weight approx. 10.5 kg (without motor, approx. 15 kg with)
