This Trek 2100 has seen just under 2500 km so far. Unfortunately, I have too many bikes, so it hasn't been used often and only when the sun is shining.
Last year I had it checked by zoerner bikes in Cuxhaven, gears adjusted, new tires, tubes fitted, new grip tape installed.
The gel saddle can be added if required. For those who want to ride more comfortably over shorter distances.
Without pedals, the bike weighs less than 9 kilos, so you can get around without too much effort.
The pedals can stay on or be changed to Look system if required.
With the Shimano 105 and predecessor ultegra
brakes, the bike is very well equipped.
The bike was bought in 1997/ 98 and used for just under 1800 km. My predecessor then only kept it in the hallway. I always hung it up in the garage. No deep cracks on the carbon or the aluminum clamps. Fork, handlebars and rear triangle made of very light aluminum.
The bike has really been ridden very little and will certainly give the next owner a lot of pleasure.
The bike cost 1899 euros in 1998, which today corresponds roughly to the price category 3000 euros upwards. A really nice racing bike.
