The Bianchi Intenso features Bianchi's proven Coast 2 Coast (C2C) geometry as used on the Infinito CV, a slightly longer head tube gives a more upright riding position to offer optimum performance with minimum stress for the rider for all day comfort. Bianchi's carbon construction is both light and comfortable and coupled with the C2C geometry offers a remarkably comfortable ride particularly suited to British roads and long rides or sportives.

Bianchi employ 2 of their performance tuning technologies across their Intenso range; B.A.T or Bianchi Active Tuning and K-VID, a Kevlar Vibration Isolating Device. BAT is concerned with the lay-up schedule of Carbon in the rear stays and is designed to obtain different stiffness behaviour under differing directional forces without compromising power transfer. This is combined with the use of Kevlar in the lay-up in both the rear stays and the front fork which helps to dampen the vibrations in these areas by up to 30% without adding weight. In combination these 2 technologies serve to reduce fatigue in the rider allowing for improved performance over the long haul. The use of a tapered fork with an oversized lower bearing in the headset gives greater steering response and stability to give a real confidence to the ride of the Intenso.

A newly designed carbon monocoque frame with internally routed cables lends the bike an improved aesthetic. The use of Shimano's 11 speed Ultegra drivetrain means that there is little worry over reliability and the smooth, accurate shifting and responsive braking make the bike a joy to ride. FSA supply the finishing kit which is colour matched with splashes of Bianchi's signature Celeste colour. The Gossamer Mega-Exo Crank offers superb shifting and power transfer while the shallow drop, short reach handlebar makes movement around the cockpit intuitive and comfortable, even on longer rides. Fulcrum Racing Sport wheels complete the package.
