I am selling a Rotwild HT C1. I bought the bike 12 years ago as a mountain bike. The bike was completely dismantled about 2 years ago and rebuilt as a gravel bike with many high-quality new parts. The only original parts apart from the frame are the crank and the upper headset bearing. The frame is in good condition, but naturally has some scratches in the paintwork in keeping with its age - there are no dents or major damage. The suspension fork has been replaced with a rigid carbon fork. To compensate for the fork height, Reverse fitted a fork riser and an additional external headset bearing from Wolftooth. The drivetrain was converted from 3 x 10 to 1 x 11. The chain line was adjusted at the chainring bolts using 3 mm spacers. A narrow wide chainring with 36 teeth prevents the chain from jumping off. The 11-speed Shimano SLX cassette offers a gear ratio of 11 to 46 teeth. The wheels from Hunt Wheels are 29 inch or 700c, rim width 25 mm. Thru axles from DT-Swiss (front: 9 x 100 mm, rear: 10 x 135 mm). For the sale I have fitted two brand new Vittoria tires with TPU tubes. I can also convert the tire and rim combination to tubeless on request. The weight with pedals, bell, speedometer and bottle cage is only 9.8 kg.
I have invested a lot of personal commitment and money in the conversion. As I currently own 5 bikes, but can only ride one at a time, I have decided to offer the Rotwild here.
