    Methodology

In this study, buycycle analyzed the top vegan-friendly cities in the U.S. based on data from HappyCow’s listing of vegan and vegetarian restaurants. We began by identifying the population of cities and then examined the number of vegan and vegetarian restaurants in each location. Cities were ranked based on three key metrics: the total number of vegan and vegetarian listings, the percentage of restaurants relative to the population, and vegan and vegetarian restaurants per 1,000 inhabitants.
