Classic Hugo Rickert steel race bike handbuilt with Reynolds 531 tubing from the mid 60s in Original condition with full patina acquired over the years. A historic piece of German bike craftmanship. The bike is part of my ‘Last to ride collection’.

Hugo Rickert was a German artisan frame builder based in Dortmund. After apprenticing with Paul Bros, he opened his own workshop in 1952 under the name “Ric Super,” later changed to “Rickert Spezial.” As solo builder Rickert earned a strong reputation among racers, especially in the 1960s–70s, building custom bikes.
