I am selling a very well preserved vintage road bike with lugged steel frame and chrome fork and chromed chainstay (vertical dropouts -fixie compatible).
The groupset is a Shimano 1055 (dated 1992) one of the first 105s. It has 7 gears (12-28) and a Biopace (oval chainring set with 52/42 teeth) at the front. The SIS (Index Shifter) is mounted on the top tube.
Hubs and headset (both run first class) are also complete 105 series as well as the cantilever brakes front and rear.
NISI 19-622 rims are centered and fitted with Vredestein Fiamente Duo Comp tires in 25mm width.
The stem (approx. 7 degrees negative?) is from Modolo and the handlebars are also Modolo with a width of 40cm and are classic without handlebar wrapping but with stitched leather protection.
Saddle Condor and original Shimano PD belt pedals.
The bike is in very good riding condition and has been serviced and adjusted by a skilled hand. It rides very agilely and, due to the significant elevation of the seating position, is typically vintage and sporty. You can see all the dimensions in the pictures.
I look forward to your suggestions (price is VB) and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
No distress sale - the bike is too small for me to ride.
No guarantee or warranty as private sale.
