Hi, For sale is a lightweight full carbon race gravel (or cyclocross) bike. Just getting started:
Advantages:
- very high gear range: with 534 % you are very fast on the road and can get up any climb (relaxed if you want) (2x11 - front: 36-46; rear 11-46). The GRX800 has been fitted for less than a year, modified with the large XT cage combined with the Ultegra drivetrain. The gearing is optimally adjusted and doesn't click at all.
- It's getting on in years, but at under 9 kg (8.65 kg on the scales despite the heavy MTB cassette) it's still at the top of its game.
- Of course, the bike was only ridden in summer and in good weather.
- the bearings are still running at the highest level - so you just sail along.
Disadvantages:
- a few scratches have appeared over the years - see pictures (mainly on the stickers, the clear coat on the carbon actually only has micro scratches from parking - on the side of the top tube...). There was a safety lock on the seat clamp (picture) - hence the heavier scratches.
- the brakes are not hydraulic disc brakes but rim brakes. This means they don't pull as well, but they are easier to maintain.
- as you can see in the picture, you should invest in a new handlebar tape soon. Again, these are customization options...
More:
- I have attached black reflective stickers (hard to see on the black carbon, but a bit more safety).
- I also fitted latex tubes from tubolito (CX/Gravel). Since then, the pressure loss of the wheels has been zero
- the XT Shimano pedals can be added for a small extra charge.
- if desired also the S-Works saddle. Saddle clamps for saddles with round bars are also available as accessories. If you don't want to take the S-Works saddle, you can get the original one.
Then have fun with your new bike - maybe it's this one....
PS: The previous owner until 2016 was a professional XC MTB sports team, which, according to them, received this bike as an addition at the time
