Further Information

This bike has been a blast and has so much left to give. I've taken meticulous care of it and it would be perfect for someone who wants to step up to some serious riding without paying a serious price! The frame is the standard Hightower C but the suspension setup is for the LT, so 150mm rear/150mm front travel rather than 135mm/140mm. Per the manufacturer, they were the same frame just IS rear brake mount on the Hightower and post mount on the LT. The Good: -GX Eagle mechanical drivetrain parts (Chain, ring, entire derailleur) replaced maybe five-ten rides ago, cassette replaced a little before that. Fresh.

-Reserve carbon rim upgrade, also upgraded to a DT Swiss 350 rear hub a couple years ago from the stock DT Swiss 370.

-Upgraded to RockShox Lyrik Ultimate cuz red lowers. Working great!

-R. Shock overhauled, including damper, at the beginning of last season. Working great!

-Pivot bearings replaced at the beginning of last season and are still feeling smooth.

-Replaced both brake lever master cylinders at the tail end of last season.

-Cush core in the rear tire -

The Bad:

-Scratches! This bike has been ridden all over Colorado under a 200lb dude with little skill at picking lines. It's got scratches baby. Scratches on the rims, scratches on the frame, DEFINITELY scratches on the crank arms. For most of its life it had some strategically placed bits of shelter tape, so it could definitely be worse. Everything is cosmetic, and being that SC carbon is probably the toughest in the biz, I'd have no worries about riding this bike another five years and more. Just sayin'....Scratches. There is also a little discoloration where I had a top-tube bag mounted for a while.

-It's got a Bontrager Line something-or-other dropper that I put during covid times because that's what was available. Not really a bad thing, just kindof a "meh" component.

-Both tires are....not the newest
