road bike built from a Peugeot Team Line frame in Colombus Neuron steel. The bike's components come from a variety of sources (second-hand, new, see below), with the aim of creating a "steel, shiny aluminum and white" bike, with a drivetrain adapted to "the least effort". No 52*42 as on a vintage bike here, but a 46*30 crankset associated with an 11*30 cassette.
Bike composition :
- Peugeot TeamLine steel frame in Colombus Neuron (bare frame weight 1.760kg), with a few paint defects. Height 56 cm (see dimensions on last photo).
New parts :
- Vélo Orange Grand Cru 46*30 double-decker crankset, 175 mm cranks.
- RoseBikes aluminum fork,
- Stronlight jdd,
- Zipp Service Course 70 XPLR 44cm handlebars,
- Ahead stem adapter,
- Shimano R55C+1 brake pads
- Sensah 10v shifters with white housings (purely aesthetic choice, not technical: Shimano 10v shifters in shiny aluminum with "tumble dryer" housings are too ugly..., and I didn't want black shifters)
- Ritchey Classic seatpost
- sheaths, cables, frame stops
- white Cube handlebars
- 11v KMC chain
- Continental Ultra Sport 25mm rear tire
Used parts :
- 105 derailleurs (long clevis for rear, triple for front)
- Ultegra brakes
- SMP Well saddle
- ITM polished upright stem
- Shimano WH-R560 wheels (straight pull spokes)
- 105 11*30 cassette
- Continental Ultra sport 25mm front tire
There are still a few finishing details to refine (paint touch-ups, polishing...).
Sold without pedals (if required, I can supply mountain bike pedals as shown in the photos).
Bike weight 9.3 kg without pedals.
