This bike has had light use, as to be honest, I'm only an occasional cyclist. For example this bike still wears its original Canyon bar type very well.
I recently replaced the 11-28 cassette, with a new Campag Centaur 11-32 cassette and a Campag Centaur 11-speed long cage rear derailleur, plus new chain, all look in as new condition.
Will also include the previous 11-28 cassette and the tool that removes the cassette lock-rings for Campagnolo-compatible cassettes.
And include the original bike manual, canyon torque allen key and zipped folder
For those not familiar with Campagnolo groupsets, Centaur is comparable to Shimano 105 and Athena is comparable to Shimano Ultegra.
Campagnolo works well and just the same as Shimano, the only difference is it just gives you a warm glow inside and a smile when you tell anyone you're running a Campagnolo groupset - Canyon call this "Italian Flair".
Has a set of brand new Continental tyres.
Saddle shown in the photos is not in the sale, but will provide a saddle.
Manufacturer's Description
In the new model year we go even a step further and equip the premium alloy frame with the new One One Four SLX fork. The carbon fork impresses with a dream weight, superb levels of stiffness and thanks to VCLS technology also delivers a massive increase in comfort. Campagnolo’s Athena groupset from Vicenza delivers additional flair. The 11-speed drive-train impresses with fast, smooth and precise shifting and the ergonomically formed grips sit beautifully in the palms of the rider’s hands.
As with the top models in the Canyon range, the Ultimate AL 8.0 also runs on the first-class Mavic Ksyrium Elite S WTS wheels, which impress with low weight, stiffness and durability. The superlight black special edition Ritchey WCS stem and the ergonomic Ritchey WCS EvoCurve handlebar round off the attractive overall package.
Bike website description:
Canyon's Ultimate AL 8.0 offers riders a high-performing bike without breaking the bank. This sleek road bike features a lightweight aluminium frame and a carbon fork, giving the bike razor-sharp handling and efficient power transfer. Campagnolo Athena 11 components make up the drivetrain and braking systems, and parts from Ritchey complement them. A Mavic wheelset is the finishing touch here.
