If required, I will also sell a folding lock for 50€ :-) Description from Cannondale: The F-series from Cannondale is almost state of the art at mountain bike XC world championships. But biking on World Cup courses is getting tougher, more technical and what was state of the art a short time ago is already outdated. With the Cannondale F-Si, Cannondale is responding to this trend and presenting a damn fast mountain bike with system integration on 27.5 inch lugged wheels. The F-Si is a bike that pushes the limits of speed and handling. The ultra-short chainstays of the F-Si increase agility in tight, technical passages and the slacker steering angle in combination with the Lefty offers safety at high speeds. Cannondale goes one step further with this mountain bike and relies on asymmetrical integration of the drivetrain. In addition to the short chainstays, this also has the advantage of a significantly stiffer rear wheel. The bike frame of the F-Si made of BallisTec carbon is also a prime example of stiffness and strength. However, stability alone is not necessarily fast. That's why Cannondale uses the proven Speed Save System in the rear triangle of the F-Si. Thanks to a special carbon layup, this acts like a micro-spring system, which is further enhanced by the Save 2 seatpost. The Cannondale F-Si is more than the sum of its individual parts, because only through consistent system integration does this mountain bike offer you the advantages that will take you to the front in tough racing conditions. Seating position / bike geometry MTN XC?a true cross country racing position. The geometry ensures a flat back. The arms remain relaxed and can absorb impacts well, but still have the perfect angle for steep climbs. BallisTec Carbon Frame Cannondale's BallisTec Carbon construction results in extremely light, stiff and strong frames that Cannondale engineers can tune to provide a precisely balanced ride quality. The intended flex minimizes the effects of shocks and impacts. And despite being the lightest frame Cannondale makes, every BallisTec Carbon meets tough industry standards for destruction and fatigue testing. BallisTec Carbon - with BallisTec structure, shapes and coating like the Hi-Mod frame, but a ride feel and stiffness achieved through a greater percentage of intermediate modulus fibers. While the use of these intermediate modulus fibers slightly increases the frame weight, it allows Cannondale to bring the phenomenal ride quality, durability and light weight of BallisTec carbon technology to more cyclists. 1.5 Si head tube?sometimes bigger really is better. The SI head tube, another Cannondale trademark, offers exceptional stiffness for precise handling and robust, impressive strength. Headset bearing shells have been deliberately omitted to save weight. 1.5 inch head tubes are significantly lighter, stiffer and stronger than tapered head tubes. Ai - Asymmetric Integration?What it is: A proprietary system where Cannondale moves the chainline outwards by 6 mm, allowing for ultra-short chainstays and a stiffer rear wheel without the usual compromises.
