More details
For sale is my personal Trek Madone, full carbon from fork to rear triangle.
This bike has served me well over the past few seasons. I'm selling this beautiful machine now due to switching to enduro riding.
At the beginning of the previous season, the cassette, chain, and front chainrings were replaced, and due to less frequent rides, this machine will surely bring more joy to its next owner. At the start of this season, the bike had a full derailleur adjustment.
In my humble opinion, this Trek is perfect for anyone looking to start cycling but wants something more serious than a Kross or 'better' bTwin.
The frame geometry allows for long rides without fatigue, and the moderately aggressive frame design doesn’t force you into an overly flat or unnatural riding position.
The Trek is built on a carbon frame using Trek's patented OCLV technology (I encourage you to read about it, as it’s not just a simple carbon fiber frame), which has never been involved in any collisions or accidents. Its beautiful blend of navy blue with purple glitter and white makes an incredible impression on the road, and many cyclists turn their heads.
The frame is from an older Trek model, so there’s no need to worry about the 'fragility' of the build, and the external cable routing significantly simplifies maintenance and adjustments. The frame itself is really light, and its size is 56 cm, which should be perfect for a rider between 170-185 cm tall.
The fork on this bike is also made of carbon, just like the frame, helping to significantly reduce the bike's weight. As far as I remember, Trek used its proprietary front wheel speed sensor technology in the fork, ensuring precise speed readings. The fork is equipped with cartridge bearings, so the bike is not only light but also steers smoothly.
The wheels on this bike are Bontragers, also with cartridge bearings and, of course, no play. They feature a lower number of flat spokes, so the whole set spins beautifully. The wheels are currently fitted with 25c tires, and with strong legs, the bike is incredibly fast.
The entire drivetrain is a complete Shimano 105 setup, known for its smooth shifting. Additionally, the front crankset has only 2 chainrings, making the setup lighter. The drivetrain operates in a 9x2 configuration, offering 9 speeds at the rear and 2 at the front.
The saddle mounted on the bike is wide, ensuring that longer rides don’t end with pelvic pain, making the ride simply comfortable.
