For sale is a
De Rosa King RS frameset 54cm
including the matching carbon fork, built-in headset, built-in bottom bracket (for Shimano Hollowtech II) and a set of titanium quick-release skewers. The absolute highlight of the frame is its flip-flop paint finish, which shimmers partly gold and partly green. The frame is incredibly stiff and light and offers the best starting point for building a lightweight, race-oriented bike for conquering many meters of altitude.
The frame is in very good technical condition, although there are of course visible signs of wear due to age and use. These are merely signs of wear. The frame is only being sold because it needs to be rebuilt. The incredibly light De Rosa frameset has served me well right up to the end. I didn't race with it and always rode it in the dry, there were no crashes with the bike either. There is some slight damage to the cable routing from a visit to the workshop, but this is only of an optical nature and has no effect on the function of the frame.
As I couldn't find a geometry table, here are the key data I measured:
Top tube length: 54cm
Seat tube length to the seat post: 65cm
Head tube length: 13.5cm
Chainstay length: 41cm
The seat tube can be shortened if necessary, I have left it as it is. Briefly about my height for orientation: I am 172cm tall and have an inside leg length of 83cm.
The frameset can be shipped in a suitable box if you pay the shipping costs, or you can pick it up in person in 65428 Rüsselsheim.
Payment can be made via PayPal, prepayment or cash on collection.
