The URTA SLR is at the top of the Wilier Triestina evolution in the mountain bike sector. A high-end bike made to provide a more technical and unique mountain biking experience. The frame has been designed to achieve extremely high levels of traction and stability. Its reliability and efficiency make it the best solution for those seeking top performance in the off-road. The geometry of the URTy SLR is adapted to the latest trends. A shorter triangle combined with a steering angle of 69° makes it a compact, fast and balanced machine, improving performance on both the steepest climbs and the most technical descents. Designed to give better traction and excellent progressive response, the URTA SLR also offers an impressive stiffness-to-weight ratio for quick acceleration and improved response to sudden changes in direction and terrain. The URTA SLR has been designed for 190x45 rear shocks with 100mm of progressive travel. For optimal kinematic performance, the choice fell on the Fox Factory DPS FLOAT 190x45 and Rockshox Sid Luxe ULTIMATE 190x45, whose optimized compression curves allow them to work in perfect synergy with the frame. In addition to improving the clean look of the URTA SLR, the integration of the joints increases the torsional stiffness of the rear triangle. An essential choice is to limit the number of stops on the water that a rider makes in the middle of a race or during a longer and more intense training session, so the URTA SLR is ready for the installation of two bidon baskets. The brake calipers fitted to the URTA SLR are standard, the same as those used on road bikes. Flat-mount brakes guarantee the same stopping power as traditional post-mount brakes for cross country cycling. The absence of the typical post-mount bridge gives the rear chainstays a more balanced flex. The URTA SLR is made of HUS-MOD carbon fibre, the same type used in the Wilier 0 SLR and Filante SLR. The URTA SLR's perfect stiffness and instant reactivity are qualities that come from the know-how Wilier Triestina has acquired over the years by working closely with professional World Tour riders. All the wiring for the shifters, brakes and shock absorbers is integrated into the frame. It is also designed to integrate the wiring for a telescopic seatpost if present. In addition to maintaining the clean and sleek lines of the bike, the integrated wiring also provides additional and more adequate protection for the equipment. The URTA SLR is equipped with a Universal Derailleur Holder (UDH) that optimizes Sram shifting action, but is also compatible with any next-generation derailleur. The use of the UDH foot offers an additional integrated safety feature that allows the derailleur to turn in the event of an accident without breaking or otherwise damaging the derailleur.
