This Colnago Super from 1982 was restored to the finest details. Bought as a bare steel frame, I started by chrome plating the rear stay, drop outs and fork. A professional paint job in two layer paint followed done by one of the best in the business. Professional decals have been applied under the lacquer and all pantographed parts of the frame have been carefully painted white. The frame is a 53cm (c-c) size frame built from Columbus SL tubing. The bare metal frame was in very good condition with no rust visible, and no dents. It could be that this frame was never build up before (NOS frame). After the frame restoration, I have built the bike with very good condition Campagnolo Super Record components, matching the year 1982 as much as possible. From the pictures, the only part not avaialbe anymore are the pedals which have been replaced with very good condition Campagnolo Gran Sport pedals (silver look) with toe straps. The tubulars on the wheels aren't glued, but I could take care of this should the future buyer decide so. The saddle is a Selle San Marco Concor, restored with light brown goat skin leather. The wheels have been build from scratch using hubs that have been both serviced using new bearings and grease and also polished to mirror shine. New spokes and nipples (Sapim) have been used on the build, so the wheels are perfectly true and very strong.
The Regina Extra 6 speed freewheel is also almost new, or probably new old stock, and looks amazing.
This bike is a museum quality restoration, but can be a road ready bike anytime as long as the tubulars are glued to the rims.
International shipping available of course.
