Hello, I'm selling my Cannondale Scalpel Carbon 2 bike. It's a 2023 model, purchased new in 2024, and has 200 km of usage, with 80% of the time on bike paths and the rest in nearby forests. It comes with a lifetime warranty on the carbon frame. I have the proof of purchase.
The size according to the manufacturer is XL, but in reality, it is more like a large L. You can check the reach (47.5 cm) of the bike in the provided link (I previously rode a Trek Supercaliber, and the Cannondale XL fits between a L and XL Trek). The suggested height by the manufacturer is from 182-185 cm and up.
The bike is set up tubeless with sealant. Weight without pedals is 10.9 kg.
The Cannondale is equipped with a full XT group set, including shifter, derailleur, chain, cassette, brakes, and rotors. The cranks are handmade Hollowgram, and the wheels are also from Hollowgram, very lightweight and made from carbon. Additionally, the rear hub is a DtSwiss 350 with a ratchet system that has been modified with a 54t ratchet and new springs. This makes it much louder and, more importantly, changes the engagement angle from 20 degrees to 6.6 degrees. I'm also including the original 18t ratchets with the bike.
The front suspension is the classic Lefty Ocho with adjustable compression and rebound. It's a very stiff fork and easy to set up according to personal preferences. Both the front and rear Fox shocks can be locked simultaneously from the handlebar using the remote lever. When locked, the bike is very stiff and accelerates extremely well; I have compared it to a gravel bike and didn't feel much difference.
Most of the bike is covered in a clear protective film (bottom and top of the frame, fork, cranks, entire rear triangle, and inside the chainstays), and additionally, the entire bike, including the wheels, is coated with Nanolex ceramic coating, making it easier to keep clean.
