First things first. Original purchase price is not what is listed above. Original Purchase price was $1200 (an inflation calculator I found shows that number today is approx. $3500). I'm open to offers and will likely choose the best offer after a few weeks of collecting. Thanks!

Stunning retro bike. The frame is a Cinelli frame (see photo of the bottom frame stamp). A small shop down in Arizona produced these bikes in small quantities back in the day with their own custom paint jobs and engraving of the cursive "D"s, inspired by the Tommasini bikes. The Domenic bikes were some of the most quality of their day. My grandfather paid top dollar for this, he passed it on to my dad, and it's been in my possession for years now. High quality, sturdy steel. With many years of riding, the paint is still in "acceptable/average" condition. It's by no means perfect, please see the photos, I did the best I could to document with images the paint chips. Was ridden thousands of miles by my grandfather in his cycling days, my dad had it mounted on his office wall, and I've done a combination of both but have had it hanging for the last few years to preserve it.

Components on this are all Campagnolo, tires are in excellent shape, the shifting is flawless. It's a comfortable ride as well. The original seat was torn so I replaced it with a bisaddle, a completely adjustable seat that you can fit to your physique and sit bone placement. Very comfortable saddle, can be swapped for another seat if you plan to display this bike and not ride it. I use bisaddle for my road bike and my trip bike and will never ride another saddle. The bisaddle is almost brand new, it probably has 20 miles on it.

If you have any questions at all, please reach out.

Below is some history of these old Domenics bikes:

Domenic's 2 Wheelers (Domenic's bike shop), an area landmark bike shop for 41 years closed back in 2011, following founder,Domenic Malvestuto's passing. Domenic's 2 Wheelers played a prominent role in Arizona cycling history, thanks to Domenic Malvestuto, who was well known in the industry. He raced in Italy and was a member of the Italian national team before moving to Tempe in 1979 and opening Domenic's Cycling.

Malvestuto, who also founded the annual Tour de Tempe community bike ride, moved his shop twice and combined it with another shop to create Domenic's 2 Wheelers.
