This is a custom bike. I am 6ft 1 as a guide and the frame is a large, or 57cm. Please check Lapierre’s website as a guide. It cost in access of £6000 to build consisting of the following :-
Frameset, in flip paint, RRP £3299 but was an insurance replacement.
Cannondale hollowgram save carbon cockpit, costing £220.
SRAM Force Axs 2x group set, costing £1200.
Bontrager Aeolus Pro V37 carbon wheels eat, costing £1200
Continental GP5000 TLR, 30mm costing £120.00.
The bike is extremely light and fast, yet due to Lapierre’s proprietary design is extremely comfortable. I have done c2c in a day with no aching problems.
I am no professional but I can easily do 40 miles at 19.5mph on this.
It’s a lovely bike that shines amazing in the sun. The wireless gears work a treat too.
I would love to keep it but I’ve finally managed to get a Laverack titanium bike after a long wait.
I think I’ve priced the bike fair, it’s in exceptional condition. The only mark is to the rear derailleur.
A bit about the frame -
“The Xelius is a light carbon road bike that is both comfortable and ultra-fast. Good when climbing and descending, fast on the flat and comfortable, it is at ease in all circumstances. Lighter, more responsive and with better aerodynamic performance, the new Xelius SL embodies the evolution of the classic competition bike.”
Pedals will be removed as well as bottle cage.
