Hello, with a heavy heart I am selling my Trek Remedy 8 from 2022 in size L and in the special Dark Prismatic paint finish. The complete bike was purchased from the Trek dealer in July 2022 and the invoice is available. I then set it up in a relatively unusual way to make it as suitable as possible for a wide variety of conditions. First of all, there is the conversion to the coil shock with the special link from Cascade Components. This changes the progression so that the coil shock can work properly and the suspension travel is increased to 155mm. In addition, a special reverse spacer was installed as a fork cone to flatten the steering angle by 0.5 degrees. This makes the bike much more potent on the downhill and it feels great on the trail. Of course, the original linkage is still included. I removed the original KnockBlock, as it got in the way on hairpin bends. However, a special spacer from Trek is installed, which fulfills the same function if desired. In order to be able to pedal comfortably uphill, very light carbon wheels from Reynolds were installed, which reduces the rotating mass. The GX AXS wireless drivetrain with an XX1 cassette in rainbow and 10-52 teeth ensures decent shifting performance. Braking is provided by a Code RSC in the Rainbow Edition. The drive components have been converted to wax. Most of the frame was covered with protective film and therefore has only minor visual signs of use. Otherwise, there are the usual traces of normal use, but nothing particularly worth mentioning. Everything works perfectly. I would prefer a pick-up, but shipping is also possible. The price is still negotiable. If you have any questions, please ask and now the usual equipment list ;-)
