I am the original owner of the bike. Purchased from Excel sports in 2019. This is a 2018 frame per my receipt.
This bike has been maintained and handled with “white gloves” it’s entire life. Make no mistake, it’s been ridden, but this bike has been always kept indoors and cleaned often. It’s hard to makeout, but I’ve had clear frame protection inside the stays. The finish is matte.
I want to be as transparent as I can, so you know everything you are getting. The only notable things are that the seapost does show wear where it’s been inserted inside the frame (it’s inevitable being clamped inside the frame) and there are some chainstay marks.
I’ve had di2 on it, but is being sold with the frame “widgets” for a mechanical setup. IE, has places to route the cables through the frame.
Includes Ultegra R8000 brakes (with aluminum brake track pads), 120mm MOST aluminum stem, spacers as shown, and the headset bearings. Headset bearing were replaced this spring (the bottom had a “flat spot” that could just barely be felt…hence replaced).
Included but not pictured is the little frame barrel that meets where the mechanical cable for the rear derailleur meets the frame. If you don’t know what I mean, you would as soon as you try to tighten up the rear derailleur cable at the back of the bike.
BBR60 bottom bracket included. Italian thread of course. Used. Estimated 1000mi
I ran 25mm and 26mm wide tires with no problem but I wouldn’t go any wider…though it technically may be possible…but I’d definitely expect some rubbing with 28’s unless your wheels are very stiff.
If it matters to you (I always liked to know)…I’m a 135lb rider. So this bike hasn’t seen the same wear as a “heavy” rider would put on it. I’m 5’10” tall with long legs. My wife is my same height but all torso…she rides a 53 Pinarello. Perfect sized bike for my geometry.
