***See closeup photo of frame*** “New” bike in box with what appears to be impact damage on top tube about 6 inches from seat tube. There is slight give in the carbon that you can feel in a spot about the size of a dime. No need for a tap test or anything because it’s definitely weakened. If I needed a XC race hard tail, I’d ride this without doing anything to the frame, but I don’t need one of these. I haven’t gotten it inspected by a carbon repair shop but seems like a relatively simple reinforcement repair from my untrained perspective. Open to offers, MSRP was $4k, then 35% close out price was 2.6k, so I think this is reasonable, but I know it’s only worth what someone wants to spend. Hit me with questions after reading and looking at photo.
