I’m selling my 2018 Giant Defy Advanced SL 1 in the M/L size. The frame has an integrated seatpost so it’s imperative that you check that this bike fits you since the height adjustment of the saddle is limited. Check the link to all of the marketing information and size chart that Giant created.

The bike has never been crashed and was always worked on by professional mechanics.
The Good
- Carbon bike with carbon wheels and saddle rails, Ultegra Di2, a Stages power meter, Bluetooth EW-WU111 Di2 dongle so you can track the Di2 battery from your Garmin and even Absolute Black oval chainrings.
- The right crank has been replaced as it did delaminate before the recall and was replaced for free by my local bike shop.
- Giant carbon rail seat was never used
- OEM Shimano chainrings and left crank included
The Bad
- You need to fit this bike as the integrated seat post is only so accommodating :). I'm 6'1" and wear a 32" long pants and it has worked for me for the last 5 years. Please make sure that you check out the size and geometry at the official Giant site to make sure it will fit.
- Not sure that this is a negative but Strava reports I have ridden it ~ 8,200 miles.
- New tires are due soon. It's currently setup tubeless on GP5000's but not everyone wants tubeless so I haven't replaced them yet and I just started riding my new bike.
I can have a local bike shop pack and ship via BikeFlights at buyer's expense.
