I paid $3775 for this bike in March of 2021, my first MTB. I bought it from someone else who had just gotten it new but needed to sell because he decided to buy a house. I live in Tijeras, NM, and have lots of trails around. But after riding the bike a handful of times (probably 50 miles total), I’ve found that it is more capable and aggressive than I want. This bike is perfect for bikepacking and rowdy hardtail rides (aka great for a thrill seeker or someone who wants to spend a LOT of time riding). I am not that person. I’d prefer to ride more flowy trails/roads, so I don’t need something so serious. I did a few rides in 2021, and then had the bike serviced and made a few mods at Bikeworks Albuquerque in 2022. Then I rode it once in October 2022 and once in October 2023, and it has not been ridden or serviced since, just hanging in my shed. I’d like to sell so I can get a chill gravel bike.

This bike is in excellent condition with only two very minor scuffs (see photos). One at the right shifter and one at the seat stay drive train side. Lovely paint. Very few miles on these tires.


The Chameleon Carbon C has been discontinued (carbon frame only 2019-2020). Otherwise, you can get current models of the Highball S Carbon for $3999 or the Chameleon S Aluminum for $2999.
