More details

I have hit the N+1 limit and need to sell my beloved Pivot Shuttle.

This bike is fast, playful, balanced, and rides great.

Pivot’s DW suspension system provides amazing anti-squat traits and perhaps functions even better on EMTBs. The DW system counteracts the added power and weight of the EMTB while providing a very efficient pedalling platform with no bobbing. At the same time it allows you to run less compression dampening preserving the small bump sensetivity.

By having the battery and motor located very low down (a strength of this year of the Shuttle’s design) the bike hugs the ground and handles like a much lighter bike.

The Shimano e8000 motor sits between the most powerful motors today and the superlight EMTBs. Its weight also places it firmly in this territory as well. So it occupies a rare space - in between the lightweight EMTBs and the full fat bikes.

3000 mile riden. I get 25-30 miles with a lot of Colorado climbing in and usually return to the car with 2 of 5 bars left (I weigh about 220, ride mainly in Trail mode - Eco on flat and downhill). I would estimate that it has 95% of its capacity left - Shimano rates this batter that at 1000 charges it would still hold 60% charge. I might have 100 at most.

You can pick up a second battery for about half the cost of other batteries (do a search for Shimano BT-E8010 batteries) and use it for a backup or carry it with you to really extend your range.

The front left shock stanchion is lightly scratched (friends bike fell over into mine). Was checked at shop and is cosmetic and does not effect performance. Rear left chainstay has a scratch - not deep but to undercoat of paint. Bottom back of seattube has a nickel sized area where the paint was scratched (I painted over it about a year ago to protect the area). Very hard to see - it is between seatstay and rear triangle. Rest of bike is in very good condition.
