Road bikes come in several categories. These include aero bikes as well as the classic road bikes or an endurance bike. With an endurance bike you achieve high speeds and have plenty of comfort for long distances. A gravel bike is excellent if you are also often on unpaved roads.
The Speedster is available in several variants and frame sizes. You have quite a few endurance and gravel models to choose from. The bikes are from frame size XS to XXL in the range of Scott which corresponds to 47 to 61 centimeters.
The new Speedster features an even lighter frame and comes with a chic look. The Speedster Disc 6061 D.Butted Alloy frame with endurance geometry has internal cable routing and is Syncros Fender Kit ready. The Speedster HMF Disc, 1 1/4"-1 1/2" Eccentric Carbon Steerer fork is noticeable in the overall weight. It dampens minor bumps and offers a balanced ride.
For less drag you get improved aerodynamics to make better progress. The high stiffness also contributes to the good performance and the bike offers enough comfort for long trips. For example, there is the Scott Speedster 10, Scott Speedster 25 or Scott Speedster 50, along with other models.
The Speedster Gravel is also available in several versions. There are, among other things, the Scott Speedster Gravel 20, Scott Speedster Gravel 30 as well as the Scott Speedster Gravel 40 EQ. Here you get the Speedster Gravel HMF Flatmount Disc 1 1/4"-1 1/2" Eccentric Carbon Steerer fork in the package. It is even better suited to absorb the bumps on the track.
When paired with the Speedster Gravel Disc frame, you get a versatile bike for gravel trails. The frame geometry is made for use off the beaten track and allows for great versatility. The Speedster Gravel is equipped to make your adventures comfortable and fast at the same time.
History
The beginnings of Scott go back to the 60s in skiing. About motorsports succeeded a little later the entry into the bicycle industry. With the aero handlebars they brought out a product that is now indispensable. Shortly thereafter Scott developed the Unishock suspension and for more than 10 years there are the Twin-Loc levers. With these you can adjust the suspension travel on the mountain bike without having to get off the bike.
To keep up with modernization Scott was one of the first companies to launch fancy e-bikes. This was done in close collaboration with Bosch who have an excellent reputation worldwide in several areas.
Scott has put emphasis on the gravel as well as endurance variant to ensure you get the best components. Each price range for itself is equipped to the maximum. Therefore the Speedster bikes are popular with hobby and professional riders.
Scott uses the components of a number of well-known manufacturers. For the gears & brakes they rely on the products of Shimano and for the cockpit mostly on Syncros components. For the wheelset they use a combination of several manufacturers such as Syncros or Formula. Schwalbe is the preferred choice when it comes to tires.

If you use your bike mostly for extensive touring on the road an Endurance road bike is a good choice for you. If you ride often on trails off the paved roads a gravel bike is the better choice. Scott offers additionally road bikes in the lightweight and aero categories.

You can use city bikes best in everyday life and also for simple trekking trips. For young riders Scott has three segments. The bikes for toddlers are available with and without pedals. For the 5 to 12 year olds there are sporty bikes in the range and the fully equipped Future Pro bikes are for teenagers.
