Zunächst wurde eine neue Kassette mit einer optimierten Übersetzung für anspruchsvolle Bergfahrten installiert. Ursprünglich war die Shimano 105 CS-R7000 mit einer Abstufung von 11-30T verbaut. Diese wurde nun durch dasselbe Modell mit einer Übersetzung von 11-32T ersetzt, um eine bessere Trittfrequenz an Steigungen zu ermöglichen. Darüber hinaus wurde ein neuer Lenker mit höherem Rise montiert, um eine aufrechtere Sitzposition zu fördern. Hier fiel die Wahl auf den Ergotec Randonneur ER-20 in der Größe 420/513 mm. Passend dazu wurde auch ein neues Lenkerband, das Lizard Skins DSP mit einer Dicke von 3,2 mm, angebracht. Da der originale Sattel nicht optimal war, wurde ein ergonomischer Sattel von SQ-Lab, das Modell 614 Ergowave active 2.1 mit einer Breite von 14 cm, nachgerüstet. Abschließend wurden aufgrund des fehlenden Pedalsatzes die SQ-Lab 511 Xlong SPD-Pedale mit einer Verlängerung von +15 mm ergänzt, um die Ergonomie weiter zu optimieren.
