Specialized Status 160 (2021) SizeS4 (L) : Very good condition, upgraded assembly.

Perfect bike for bikepark or shuttle days, 2021 frame (in a rather rare color) with new Fox suspensions in 2022 (the frame was refitted before the sale by a Specialized team). The Fox 36 Rythm (160mm) and DPX2 Perf (160) combo at the back of the frame is generally reliable and ready to ride.

The top-of-the-range set-up allows you to take full advantage of the bike's downhill performance, including a pair of Magura MT7 4-piston brakes, purged at the end of the 2023 season and therefore little worn, with semi-metallic pads in good condition (203 mm front, 180 mm rear). Unbreakable DT Swiss 1501 (front, 29) and EX 471 (rear, 27.5) wheels mounted in DT SWISS hubs (very good bearings, low friction). The Renthal cockpit (handlebars and stem) completes the set-up. A telescopic saddle and a like-new Spécialized saddle (slim and not too bulky) make for an easy ride downhill (gravity / bikepark style). The Sram XO1 11-speed groupset is precise and ultra-reliable, perfect for long descents and equipped with an XX1 crankset to make everything more reliable. The bike is fitted with a Maxxis Minion DHRII front in 29 (ridden, but almost new) and a Specialized Butcher Gravity Grid derriere in 27.5 (equivalent to Maxxis DH casing, little ridden). The frame is a size S4 (L equivalent), perfect for riders between 173 and 188 cm.

The pedals, Crankbrothers Mallet Enduro (so automatic), can be left on the bike for an extra 50€ (value of 120€ new).

A student bike, it has only been ridden in summer since purchase, has not suffered any major crashes, has always been foxed/washed and kept warm/dry in the off-season. It does, however, show signs of use: chipped paint on the bottom of the frame / rear triangle due to normal use, but no damage to the integrity of the frame itself. Not to mention the clear protect protection on the fork legs, downtube and seat tube, which has always protected it.
