Supercorsa Cinelli è il telaio in acciaio più iconico del mondo ed è prodotto da 70 anni senza soluzione di continuità.

Il primo Supercorsa fu disegnato da Cino Cinelli insieme al suo telaista, Luigi Valsasina, nei primi anni Cinquanta. Suo obiettivo dichiarato “la perfetta armonia funzionale tra le tre parti principali del telaio: forcella, triangolo principale e foderi”. Questa armonia era da raggiungere tramite una sapiente combinazione di rigidezza, elasticità, aerodinamica ed estetica e ogni parte andava progettata per concorrere al compimento dei criteri radicali di Cino, il cocciuto perfezionista.

Dopo 15 anni di sperimentazione e perfezionamento di quello che egli definiva il pezzo più ‘filosofico’ tra quelli prodotti dal marchio, Cino e Valsasina giunsero all’iconica soluzione ancora oggi cifra del Supercorsa e Supercorsa Pista.

Da allora – siamo a metà degli anni 60 – Supercorsa ha subito due sole importanti modifiche: una nuova grafica del telaio disegnato dalla leggenda milanese, Italo Lupi, nel 1979, a complemento del nuovo rivoluzionario disegno del marchio, la sua “C” alata.

Altre piccole modifiche al telaio riguardano aggiornamenti tecnologici nascosti e discreti dei materiali e delle tecniche di manifattura, che garantiscono che l’originale qualità di guida e l’estetica rimanessero rispettosamente immutate.
