I am proudly presenting this legendary frameset, born in cooperation of 2 famous Italian frame builders, Masciaghi (owner of the brand Fausto Coppi) and Pelizzoli (C4) in 1993, they went to work as head of design and manufacturing of high end racing frame. C4 back in early/mid 1990s They had a mission the produce stiff, light and aerodynamic frame for Team Polti who was one of the strongest teams back then. In 1993-1994, after many months of engineering and cooperating, their revolutionary project became a reality – Fausto Coppi Repatro Corse Lugano 53. This frame celebreted Fausto Coppi’s world championship 40th anniversary in Lugano at 1953 with Bianchi. It was a very special bike because of it elegant tubing silhuete and aerodynamic looks. Hand made pearl-powder paintjob. WORLD FIRST FULL CARBON Monocoque BIKE on TOUR DE FRANCE! Fausto Coppi, ridden by Team Polti for the 1994 season.
