I have invested a lot of time in building this non-nonsense bike and wouldn't be selling it if I could, but doing this (as well as selling my custom YT TUES downhill bike that you can find in my profile) for family reasons. The "Filter" frame is from UK company Airdrop based in Sheffield. They are riders themselves and offer excellent support to their customers, including second hand buyers. I have removed all the stickers from the frame as I prefer the raw metal look, but you can order stickers in many colours directly from Airdrop. Highlights of the build start with the Cane Creek IL shock, which weighs like an air shock but performs much better, with 135mm of travel and all possible dials (LSC, HSC, LSR, HSR). Then up front you get RockShox Pike fork with 160mm of travel and Vorsprung Luftkappe upgrade. This fork works like magic. Braking is provided by a combination of Magura MT-5 calipers and Shimano XT levers - the power will impress you. The drivetrain is simple, crispy, and reliable – 1x11 Shimano XT. The wheels are bombproof DT Swiss E1900, probably the best value for money wheels on the market. Test ride is possible in Nuremberg. Private sale with no guarantee, return or refund.
