Due to a bike fleet reduction, I am offering a 26 inch hardtail mountain bike from Focus. The frame is aluminium with a matt grey finish. The size is suitable for people between 1.60 and 1.85. I am 1.73 myself and the saddle height shown in the pictures is ~71cm. Can be pushed in or out a good 10 cm.
Below is some data on what is installed. The bike is completely rebuilt from the former 3x9 drivetrain with some modern parts:
- 1x11 drivetrain with Deore CS-M5100 cassette (11-51 sprockets) and Deore RD-M5100 rear derailleur
- Chainring is from absoluteBLACK (round version, red anodised, 36 teeth) I have attached a picture of the gear ratio with the corresponding speeds. Smallest gear also makes steep hills possible (18.8 gear inches smallest gear)
- Shimano MT200 brakes front + rear (hydraulic disc brakes). The brake discs are identical to the Galfer Wave discs.
- The tyres are the fast-running cross country combo from Schwalbe -> Racing Ralph and Racing Ray with the ADDIX Speed and ADDIX Supergrip compound. Perfect for road, dirt track, forest track and general off-road.
- Schwalbe Aerothan tyres are fitted. With colour-coordinated red anodised valve covers
- Suspension fork is new and from Manitou (Markhor, 100mm travel). It is an air based suspension that can be individually adjusted to the rider's weight. It's capable of trails
- The grips are the ESI Chuncky made of silicone, very damping and light
-The handlebars are Ritchey carbon flatbar
- Seat clamp 34.9mm red anodised from Wolf Tooth
- Mount for Wahoo is attached to the top cap spacers.
- Stem can be adjusted 1.5cm up or 1.5cm down with the spacers.
A few words about the condition of the bike:
The bike has always been lovingly cared for. In the pictures you can see the almost new tyre treads. The brake discs still have the original thickness of 1.8mm and the brake pads are new. The bottom bracket is also new and has been ridden about 300km since then. It is an Octalink bottom bracket.
The hydraulic disc brakes have been bled and have a crisp braking point. The gears are perfectly adjusted.
The chain is waxed with Silcas Hot Melt Wax, but can be changed back to classic oil lube at any time.
All stickers have been removed from the matt grey frame for a clean look. A real eye-catcher in combination with the red add-on parts.
There are a few scratches on the crank and on the frame paint at the front of the headset due to the abrasion of a cable, as you can see in the picture. But everything is only of an optical nature and technically flawless.
The pictures of various rides give you a good feeling of the bike.
