With the Cube Cross Race, you get a cyclocross bike you can rely on. Its excellent performance in races is partly due to the involvement of the professional team. Since 2020, Cube has had its own cross department in collaboration with the Tormans Cyclo Cross Team by Wanty.
When you choose a used bike, you get to enjoy better components at a lower price. Ambitious riders often upgrade to the latest model, which gives you the opportunity to find bargains with minimal wear.
The Cube Cross Race C:68X SLT and Cube Cross Race C:68X TE feature the C:68X Monocoque Advanced Twin Mold Technology. The internal cable routing ensures both enhanced protection and a sleek appearance. The carbon frame was developed in partnership with the Wanty Cyclo Cross Team, showcasing innovative design.
Despite its robustness, the frame maintains good stiffness and is easy to shoulder, weighing only 900 grams. A 20% reduction is achieved through an integrated stem and seat clamp. The C:68 models exude strength but remains easy to handle.
The Cube Cross Race C:62 SL and Cube Cross Race C:62 Pro also sport a carbon frame with a full carbon fork. Internal cable routing within the head tube reduces weight and cable wear. The C:62 models are slightly heavier, about 1-1.5 kilograms, compared to the C:68 bikes.
Both the Cube Cross Race Pro and Cube Cross Race feature an aluminum frame, specifically the Aluminum Superlite frame. These frames offer optimal stiffness, precise steering, and control, with the full carbon fork absorbing vibrations and rapid impacts. Internal cable routing ensures precise shifting, even in muddy conditions.

Cube Cross Race bikes use components from SRAM, Shimano, Newmen, and Schwalbe. Cube also includes its own in-house products to complete the package.
Newmen Components, like Cube, is based in Bavaria but they are about 250 miles apart. Newmen offers wheels, hubs, handlebars, stems, and seatposts.
For bikes with chain drivetrains, Shimano products like Shimano 105, Ultegra, Shimano Ultegra Di2 (electronic), and SRAM Force eTap AXS are used. Pedals are optional.
Cube consistently employs disc brakes with the Flat Mount Disc attachment, offering superior braking performance, especially in adverse weather conditions.
The seatpost is either from Newmen or Cube's own production, options include the Newmen Evolution and Cube Performance Post. Their saddles, like the Natural Fit, feature a T-shaped design for more legroom and pressure relief, with Dual Foam Padding and Memory Foam. For handlebars and stems, Cube relies on its own development department, alongside Newmen.
Cube combines its own products and Newmen's quality for the wheelsets. It equips them with high-quality tires from Schwalbe or Challenge, such as the Schwalbe X-One Allround with Performance Kevlar and Challenge Grifo Pro.
We believe the Cube Cross Race is the best Cube bicycle...just kidding, we love all Cube bikes!
Thanks to Advanced Mechanical Forming and a smooth welded design, the frame boasts seamless transitions, enhancing aesthetics and a reduced weight. The low overall weight is advantageous for racing, making it easy to shoulder and tackle climbs efficiently.
With its durability and generous tire clearance, it's an excellent choice for winter training on snowy terrain. The synergy of Newmen and Cube components adds to its appeal, ensuring quality across the whole bike.
