When is the ideal time to sell my bicycle?
It depends. However, we have a general rule: High-end road, mountain, and triathlon bikes sell in autumn and winter. This is because serious cyclists prepare and train in the off-season. They research models extensively and buy early to get the best bike before summer demand spikes. Meanwhile, kids' or basic sport bikes sell best in spring and summer. People often buy these bikes to meet immediate needs like warm weather or replacing a broken bike.
How do you use my personal data?
When you sell your bike, we need your IBAN and other personal data. This is so we can process your payment, and to comply with EU regulations. We do not store any of your personal data ourselves. Only our payment provider can process our data. Your data is protected with us at all times.
How can I be sure I'll receive payment?
Once your bike is sold, the payment has already been collected from the buyer and is being processed by our payment provider. After the bike has been shipped and the buyer confirms delivery, no later than 48 hours after arrival, your payment will be available for transfer to your bank account with a single click. Your payment is secured from start to finish!
How much does it cost to sell a bike?
Creating an ad for your bicycle is free.
However, there is a small fee of 3.5% of will be deducted from the sale proceeds upon a successful transaction.
