This is the former World Tour Bike of Roberto Conti, the circa 2000 De Rosa Merak ridden by UCI team Vini Caldirola Sidermac. This model bike was ridden by UCI World Champion Romans Vainsteins for the win in 2000 and remains almost unchanged from that era.
Campagnolo Record full groupset, original to the bike. 11-23 rear cassette, front is currently 43/37. I changed the small chainring from 39 to 37 to help with some of the steeper climbs.
