This bike was made and assembled by the cyclist EDMOND POLCHLOPEK, a professional racer from 1961 to 1964 for Team Arrigades, whose name is painted on the frame. He won cycling races in the Tour de France. He was the veteran world champion in 1985. Then he became a frame builder, seeking aerodynamics, and designed steel frames with aerodynamic shapes: a slightly flattened horizontal tube and a diagonal tube with an air passage slot. His shop was located in Pontault-Combault in Seine et Marne in the 1980s.
