Drive chain: Gates Carbon Belt Drive. Belt produces no grease, and lasts up to 30,000km (~19,000 miles) before needing replacement.
Gearing: Shimano Nexus internally geared hub. Only needs oil change every 5,000km (~3,000 miles). Low maintenance bike.
