Shipping times

The estimated shipping time is shown at checkout and can vary based on a few things:

Packaging materials: If the seller needs a box, we’ll send it to them first.

Seller’s schedule: The seller needs time to pack your new bike. They also need to choose a pickup date that works for them.

Distance: The farther the bike has to travel, the longer it might take.

Customs: If your bike is crossing a border, customs and other steps can add some extra time.

Buyer Protection

We hold your payment in a secure escrow account until you’ve received the bike. Once it arrives, you have 48 hours to check it over and make sure everything’s as expected. If there’s an issue, you can raise a claim—our team of expert bike mechanics will review the case. We’ll only release the payment to the seller once everything is resolved.

Financing

To pay in installments, simply select PayPal as your payment method in the next step and choose the "Pay Later" option. Please note: PayPal is not yet available in all countries.

Test ride & Pick up

Want to test ride the bike or pick it up in person?

Just choose “Pick up from seller” at checkout.

Once the seller confirms, you’ll get their contact details so you can set up a time to meet.

Take it for a spin and decide on the spot—then just head to your Orders page to confirm or decline the handover. If you decline, you'll receive a full refund back to your payment method, no questions asked.

There are no fees for buyers when you pick up the bike in person, and you still benefit from the safety of buycycle's secure escrow system.
