This frame has finished 2nd at Mid South Gravel and the Rock Cobbler in 2020, 2nd at Unbound XL in 2021, and went on a lot of pandemic-period adventures. Particularly because of the mud race that was Mid South, the frame shows signs of wear and tear. All the paint chips are cosmetic-only and are shown in the photographs. Most of the components are lightly used as the original racing parts have moved on. The 2x GRX Di2 set-up provides a wide gear range. The carbon wheelset shows some scuffs on the rims from mud scraping, but are a great do-everything set with a 25mm rim width.
This was the year that Niner updated the RLT 9 RDO with a new carbon fork, a total of 26 braze-ons for mounting, and wider tire clearance that can fit up to 700x50mm or even a 650B x 2.0 tire. Niner has the RDO (Race Day Optimized) as their top-shelf carbon model that can act as a race machine with snappy geometry while also having the flexibility to bike pack, tour, or ride distances in comfort.
