Selling my Specialized Epic HT, 2022 model, completely custom-built.
I did not buy this bike as a complete bike and simply ride it; instead, it was built up over a longer period from individual components according to my preferences. The goal was a very light, yet sensibly rideable and reliable XC build.
The result: only 8.3 kg.
My intention was not to save every gram at all costs and build a "glass bike" that is extremely light but makes you nervous on every tougher descent. I wanted a bike that is light and fast, but still reasonably equipped and easily rideable in normal XC use.
