Congrats! You sold your bike on buycycle and now you are ready to ship it. Once you have received our packaging material proceed with the following steps.

NO INLAYS or DIFFERENT LOOK?

IF NECCESSARY: REAR WHEEL REMOVAL

Here's how to remove the rear wheel and fit it securely.

Packaging Do's & Don'ts:

No direct contact between wheels, frame, or components.

This can cause scratches. Add extra padding between wheels and frame. This is the most common damage seen during shipping so the more protection the better.

Protect the fork and rear triangle from pressure and compression.

Avoid bulky or modified boxes — no parts should stick out.

Do not alter the box.

If your bike doesn’t fit, contact our support instead of modifying the packaging.

Important Reminders:

You are responsible for proper packaging.
Use extra padding where needed and make sure the bike is secure and no parts are touching.

Correct packaging prevents transport damage and ensures your payout is not delayed.

You are required to upload pictures of the packaging process to get the shipping label. Take at least 3 photos of the unpacked order next to the packaging material and 3 photos of the packed order.

Because the box looks like a large ‘TV’, a driver may hesitate to collect it. Simply explain it contains a bicycle, show your buycycle receipt, and—if needed—open the box briefly for a quick look. This usually clears things up and avoids a pickup refusal.
