The Vitus ZX1 is a legendary frame from the early 1990s. Launched in 1991 by the French manufacturer Vitus, it is one of the very first mass-produced carbon monocoque road bike frames. In the 1990s, the Peugeot brand no longer manufactured all of its high-end frames in its historic workshops. To offer cutting-edge racing bikes to its professional teams and in its premium catalog (Peugeot Team Line), Peugeot partnered with Vitus.
