On the day I bought the 720 I removed ALL the decals to help prevent theft even (or especially) the big TREK insignia on the handle bar head tube and all the "531 Reynolds".
The only one I could not remove is still on the chain stay, saying "720".
I really don't know of "any scratches, repairs, or extras". The paint job remains a beautiful "Dark Pewter" that still sparkles with flecks of glitter.
I did change out the rear derailleur for a Shimano Acera. I never liked the Huret Duopar. I left on the Huret front derailleur.
