Forks can be locked from the handlebar. It is a super rideable e-bike, practically like a normal bike, meaning it doesn't even feel like an electric one in the sense that the motor doesn't give that annoying feeling that others do, and on flat ground, you can turn the motor off because it is very easy to pedal. It is ideal for excursions on dirt roads or asphalt.
