When working on the new Tarmac Disc model, we wanted it to be fast—fast absolutely everywhere! Fast on long climbs, on flat, windy sections, on every stage of the TdF, in criteriums—to be the most complete road bike. But how to achieve that? We started with a Rider-First Engineered™ frame, guaranteeing optimal handling characteristics in every size and aerodynamics that save 30 seconds over 40 kilometers compared to the Tarmac SL5. And then... we shed 20% of its weight. That is how the lightest and fastest bike with the best possible handling was created.
