Der Rahmen wird mit Gabel, Vorbau und Steuersatz, aber ohne Tretlager und Sattelstütze verkauft!

Sehr schöner Stahlrahmen von Dave Lloyd, gefertigt in Wales in den frühen 90er Jahren, zu verkaufen.

Rahmenhöhe: 56 cm CC (Mitte-Mitte). Komplett mit 1-Zoll Ahead-Alu-Gabel von Kinesis. #wirklichleicht – inklusive Gabel, Vorbau, Steuersatz und Tretlager wiegt das Set nur knapp 2700 Gramm.

Das geringe Gewicht verdankt der Rahmen den legendären 753-Rohren von Reynolds. Das 753-Rohr war das erste gehärtete Set in der Rennradindustrie mit einer Wandstärke von 0,7/0,5 mm am Oberrohr und basierte auf dem 531-Rohr. Viele Rahmenbauer hatten anfänglich Schwierigkeiten, das dünne Rohr zu verarbeiten, da es bei Überhitzung leicht beschädigt wurde. Das 753 wurde später durch das Reynolds 725 ersetzt und ist heute nur noch auf spezielle Anfrage erhältlich.

Der 1949 geborene Dave Lloyd war von 1973 - 1976 Profifahrer bei TI-Raleigh zusammen mit Didi Thurau. Sein Rahmenbauhandwerk lernte er in den 80ern bei Harry Quinn und Terry Dolan. Ebenso wie Quinn ist Lloyd Waliser. Lloyd baute nur 13 Jahre lang Rahmen und es gibt nur insgesamt 1750 echte Dave Lloyd Rahmen auf der ganzen Welt. Somit steht hier ein richtig seltenes Stück zum Verkauf.

Den Zustand würde ich als gut bezeichnen. Natürlich gibt es nach all den Jahren einige Lackabplatzungen an den üblichen Stellen, aber keine Beulen und keinen Rost. Die Aufkleber sind ebenfalls noch in sehr gutem Zustand. Perfekt also für ein Leichtbauprojekt im Herbst – das ideale Rahmenset.
