The bike has been sitting idle for eight years, which is why the tires are flat. Before that, there were no issues with the brakes or chain, and it was regularly serviced until it was put into storage. Since the time of purchase, it has been kept in the basement when not in use, protecting it from direct weather exposure (I could not see any rust). Front and rear bike lights are included, as is a bell. A lock is also included. There is a sticker on the back that my father applied; I unfortunately no longer know why, as no accidents occurred and there are no visible scratches, apart from some wear on the pedals.
