<p>TREK BICYCLE USED BIKES WARRANTY TREK BICYCLE, S.L. Unipersonal, with its registered o􀆯ice at Ronda de Poniente Street, No. 12, 28760 Tres Cantos, (Madrid), Spain (iberiacustomercare@trekbikes.com), informs the consumer that this product has already been used and is therefore legally considered a secondhand product. Consequently, compared to a brand-new product, it may present: 1. Cosmetic defects and/or di􀆯erences in equipment, components, and/or accessories, as well as di􀆯erences in color, stickers, model name, and/or nomenclature. 2. Wear on some of its components, which, as a non-exhaustive example, may include: tubes, tires, rims, hubs, brakes, chainrings, chains, sprockets, batteries of electric bikes, bottom brackets, bearings, and bushings on dual-suspension bicycles, etc. TREK BICYCLE, S.L. Unipersonal, hereinafter referred to as "TREK," o􀆯ers the product the following warranties from the date of its purchase at a TREK-owned store in Spain, hereinafter referred to as "TREK store": LEGAL WARRANTY: TREK warrants its used products (second-hand) against manufacturing or material defects for one year from the date of purchase and in the event of non-conformity. Additionally, the presumption of the existence of possible non-conformities is reduced to one year, all in accordance with the applicable Spanish consumer legislation. COMMERCIAL WARRANTY: This commercial warranty against manufacturing or material defects applies to the frames of used bicycles (second-hand). TREK warrants its bicycle frames (individual frames, frame and rigid fork, main frame and swingarms of dual-suspension frames) for their entire useful life, exclusively for the first owner (only for natural persons, excluding legal entities and entities without legal personality that are not beneficiaries of this commercial warranty) and from the date of purchase, with the following exceptions:  Components of the rear suspension linkage, including bearings, rocker link, screws, and corresponding components. The consumer is warned that due to design and technology improvements, the replacement frame provided within the commercial warranty period may present compatibility issues with the components/parts of the original frame. For illustrative but non-limiting purposes, these may include: bottom bracket assembly, headset bearings, linkage, stays, shock absorber, shock reducers, as well as the screws required for them, cable guides, and duo-trap covers, ABP, etc. TREK is exempted from the costs incurred for acquiring the new components/parts necessary for assembly, as well as the costs derived from dismantling the parts and components of the original frame for subsequent assembly on the replacement or repaired frame within the commercial warranty period. Warranty claims (legal and commercial) must be managed through a TREK-owned store; more information is available at TREK Store Finder. A legal purchase invoice is required, and the consumer must prove their identity with a DNI, NIE, or PASSPORT. LIMITATIONS APPLICABLE TO THE LEGAL AND COMMERCIAL WARRANTY: TREK guarantees all original components of its bicycles for one year from the date of purchase (except for those subject to wear from use). The commercial warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a frame with manufacturing or material defects. TREK reserves the right to modify the nomenclature, finish, color, paint, and/or decals of the repaired or replacement frame. The finish, paint, and decals of the bicycle have a one-year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing and material defects. The bicycle owner is warned that moisture, sweat, and other external agents may cause corrosion and that continuous exposure to ultraviolet rays from the sun deteriorates the decals and paint of bicycles, as well as their parts and components. For electric bicycles, the entire electrical system, console (controller), charger, motor, wiring, and battery port are covered by a one-year warranty from the date of purchase. In this regard, the bicycle battery is a consumable product subject to wear from use. The consumer has been informed in advance of the number of charge cycles consumed and understands that its performance may be less than when it was new, limiting its warranty to one year or 600 charge cycles from its first use, whichever comes first. The warranties provided (legal and commercial) do not cover deterioration from normal use or wear, improper assembly or maintenance tasks, bearings, and bushings of dual-suspension bicycles, installation of parts, accessories, or components not originally designed or compatible with the sold bicycle, damage caused by accidents, misuse or negligence, and modification or application of paint on the frame, fork, parts, and components.
